360° Canvas Sail Bags
from idea to brand
How it all began
As with every cult company, everything at 360° started in a garage. Growing up in an enthusiastic sailing family, designer Edzard Kramer was already tinkering with bags and jackets made of canvas in 1995. A material that, thanks to its properties (waterproof and tear-resistant, UV-resistant), is ideal for further processing into streetwear and also visually (white, with sailing symbols) represents a fashionable exclamation mark in every respect.
During his design studies in Hamburg, Kramer discovered another aspect of successful streetwear: functionality. The further development of the 360° product range was increasingly geared towards the needs of the modern city dweller.
Visually, the goal remained to create a timeless design that combines a fashionable appearance with functionality. The material and origin of the material should only be discovered upon closer inspection. This is a key difference to other recycling products.
After several exhibitions at major trade fairs (including Hanseboot, BOOT Düsseldorf), 360° Equipment quickly became an insider tip in retail.
360° items are now also available in Austria, Holland, Switzerland, USA, Italy, Denmark and England.
We have been producing in Poland for 22 years a small family business with 10 seamstresses, which is run very socially by mother and son, who sometimes sew themselves.
We are pleased to have found such a great sewing shop that matches us in size and technology and can also continue to grow as a person.
